Don’t forget to give handouts to other Hastings arts venues

I note that amongst the huge amounts now being pumped in to the economy. The government announced a £1.5bn. rescue package for arts venues.

We were also informed, via BBC Southeast, that Hastings Contemporary, formerly The Jerwood Gallery, has benefited from this money.

No doubt we all can recall the controversy surrounding Jerwood coming to Hastings but suffice to say now that I hope The Stables Theatre also secures some of this package and anxious White Rock Theatre staff are given hope for their respective futures.
