Don't take Chickie quite so seriously

I WAS sad to read Andrew Lawrenson's letter to you regarding Liz Ruby's A Boy Called Chickie.

I'm sure her lovely, tongue-in-cheek descriptions of "Accountant" are not meant to be taken at all seriously.

I always look forward to reading her column, and her writing brings forth a welcome chuckle in these miserable days of gloom and doom in the news.

Please, keep us smiling in 2009, Liz.
