Eastbourne supermarket is calm and safe in pandemic

I would like to strongly disagree with the lady who reported lax social distancing at Tesco, Lottbridge Drove click here to read letter.

I am a regular customer and I have actually been saying for months how calm and safe the store has been.

There is always someone on the door. There is a one-in-one-out traffic light system.

It has a sanitising station both outside and inside the entrance. There is a clear Tannoy announcement at least every half an hour, if not more, asking customers to respect both staff and those unable to wear a mask, and to remember social distancing.

As with all rules, some customers do seem to have forgotten to keep their distance, but rarely!

I shall continue to use the store, and would like to add how friendly and helpful I find all the staff in these stressful times.
