Easter activities at Amberley Museum

So much to do this Easter at Amberley! We are open every day in the Sussex school holidays – so from Saturday 28th March until Sunday 12th April.

On the two Wednesdays we have children’s activities, and from 1st to 6th April we are running our exciting Easter Trail.

Throw in our ever popular Vintage Car Show on Easter Sunday and a Working Day on Bank Holiday Monday, and there really is something for everyone.

We are also looking ahead to our ‘Ride the Amberley Buses Day’ on Sunday 12th April when as many as possible of our own Southdown collection will be running visitor services throughout the day at the Museum.

This is to start the celebrations of 100 years of the Southdown Bus Company, which used to run the local bus services in the area. I’m sure many readers will remember the familiar green and cream livery.

For details, please see our events poster or website, www.amberleymuseum.co.uk.

Amberley Museum is a 36 acre site set in the South Downs National Park dedicated to industrial heritage, with communications and electricity exhibition halls, working printshop, stationary engines, lime kilns and more. Visitors can take free rides on the narrow gauge railway or historic bus.
