The first prize of the Cocoa Loco Easter Egg was won by Sue Fuller. Sue left the event shortly before the draw was taken and so had a wonderful surprise when the Egg was delivered to her door.

Sue said she was so delighted to have won. This Easter Egg was donated by Cocoa Loco, who recently won the Sussex Food Producers of the Year Award.

We also had a “Guess the Weight” competition for a Simnel Cake.

This superb cake was won by Christine Burton who guessed the exact weight. The cake was baked by Lorraine Milton who is the Catstravaganza Events Organiser. Lorraine bakes many cakes and savoury items which are always a sell out at our events.

Author Amy Brooke kindly donated 10 copies of her book ‘The Cat The Nobody Wanted’ to our event, which we sold at £4 each.

Amy is New Zealand based and her son, Giles, who is a volunteer with the Horsham Branch brought them along for us, having recently returned from a visit to his mother in New Zealand.

They are not available elsewhere in the UK to purchase so these made a wonderful addition to our sale.
