Eco-Town failed so why waste more time on it

WITH reference to the article on the so-called Eco-Town (Gazette, April 22), there is mention of green homes being built at Ford Airfield, but the development was turned down by the government because the proposals by the Ford Enterprise Hub did not meet the criteria laid down by the government, and, therefore cannot be green.

However Arun District Council dealt with the matter would not have changed the outcome, and I cannot see why ratepayers' money should be wasted on defending a complaint, when the development is defunct.
