Elephantastic, the follow up to the hugely successful Giraffe Trail in Horsham which ran in the autumn of 2013, is due to start on 25th July.

Over 150 elephants will be scattered throughout the town and the surrounding countryside over a 5 week period. There will be a variety of associated events and competitions to entertain the whole family connected to the elephants. Elephantastic will raise funds and awareness of many charities in the Horsham Area and The Born Free European Elephant Sanctuary. Each elephant will have a link to a local charity and The Capitol are delighted to announce they linked up with the staff at The Springboard Project this week to introduce their elephant who is in the process of having a make-over by one of our Capitol Box Office ladies, Charlotte Young. Charlotte is currently studying Theatre Production (Design & Management) at the University of West London.

The Springboard Project is a wonderful community based charity in Hurst Road that provides inclusive play and leisure opportunities for families with young children and fun short breaks for children and teenagers with disabilities. Springboard Houses are open as drop-in centres for any family to bring their children and enjoy our play facilities during the week. The centres are accessible with ceiling hoists and changing facilities and Pictured outside The Capitol with their elephant are staff from The Springboard Project Vickie Toms, Service Delivery Manager, Luke the Horsham centre also has a lift.
