Entertainer uses magic beans for hospice funds

A children’s entertainer from West Sussex has helped to raise over £1,300 for a local children’s hospice.

Renowned children’s entertainer Tomfoolery was asked as part of his Charity Tuesday initiative to host a Christmas party with a twist!

Darren Woods a local children’s horse riding instructor from West Sussex orchestrated the evening of party games such as musical chairs, pass the beans on toast and the tunnel of doom game, for grown up kids!

The night was rounded off with the debut performance of the Steps tribute group ‘Steps into beans on Toast’ starring Tomfoolery, Darren Woods, Emmafoolery, Lyn Snowdon and Jo Greenhaigh.

The evening took place on Tuesday 2 December at the Hassocks Hotel Public House, Hassocks and raised an impressive £1,356 for the Chestnut Tree House.

Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in East and West Sussex and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.

For the last few months Tomfoolery has been raising money through all parties booked on a Tuesday as part of his Charity Tuesday initiative where £120 of every party booked goes directly to the hospice.
