Equipment is where?

WITH all that has been written and discussed about the building of a new hospital for Littlehampton, I would like an answer to just one question.

When the old hospital was demolished in such haste, what happened to the x-ray equipment?

A good many years ago we, the residents of Littlehampton, raised the money to buy and install x-ray equipment in the old hospital, so that it would no longer be necessary to travel to Worthing Hospital for x-rays.

That equipment does not belong to the NHS, it belongs to the people of Littlehampton.

We are being told various new facilities will be provided in GP surgeries and a new hospital is not needed. Is any surgery in Littlehampton capable of housing an x-ray unit? I think not.

It is no coincidence the old hospital was demolished so quickly. There had been talk of a possible refurbishment – a building which no longer exists cannot be refurbished.
