EU debate: Our future depends on it ...

The first ten minutes of Michael Gove's Sky debate last Friday highlighted Vote Leave's campaign so far: heavy on bluster but light on substance.

Every single time the anti-Europeans take to the screen they try and brush off expert opinion as propaganda, but the question remains: would you cross a bridge that hasn’t been designed by an architect, or drive a car that has failed safety tests?

By saying they want to leave the single market of 500m people and put up tariffs, the Brexit campaign are gambling with the future of the UK’s finances. A tumbling pound since the start of the referendum shows just how risky this vote is for families up and down the country, a view shared by Lord Sugar who was unequivocal in saying that leaving was one risk too far.

This is simply not good enough for hard-workers in the UK. Millions of jobs here are related to our membership of the EU and hundreds of thousands depend directly on it.
