Event ‘manifestly not a consultation’

It was a blatant declaration of intent – this is what we propose to do to Angmering, whether its inhabitants like it or not.

I even witnessed one young man being told by an Arun official that he was “not allowed to take photographs of the event” – in his own village hall!

Whatever happened to democracy, to the Localism Bill giving residents the right to determine the future of their own community?
