Express your concern at plan

One did not have to be very sharp-eyed to notice that Rother District Council has advertised for disposal (it does not say for sale this time - a legal nicety?) several parcels of open space land including St Mary's Wood and the Great Highwood.

Word is that there may be restrictive covenants on said disposals but I would ask those who care about our environment to write - yes, you have to write, not email - to Graham Burgess at RDC to express your concern.

I think the council should be completely open about these disposals and issue a statement of intention as to the type of disposal they are aiming for.

Just in case you are unaware, all objections must be individual - six signatories to a letter counts as one objection.
