Extraordinary closure

IT is extraordinary that the De La Warr Pavilion, 'in respect to the patroness, the Duchess of Cornwall' will close on the day of the Royal Wedding for the staff to celebrate the event (or not) privately.

How enjoyable if we could all have been able to celebrate the occasion in our Pavilion, perhaps even with a giant television screen laid on at the time of the ceremony.

I wonder if the new Turner Gallery in Margate, Kent, will disdain its unconstructed locals as much as they seem to in Bexhill? Not if Tracy Emin has anything to do with it, I imagine. I must ask her.
