Fair set to return as part of Horsham sports Club firework festival

Following the decision to end the half-term Autumn traditional fair in Horsham Town Centre in 2012, Horsham Sports Club has worked towards the return of this family event on their town centre ground in Cricketfield Road, Horsham.

Because of the success of last year’s sold-out firework event a decision was made to increase the size of the fair and this will be included as part of this year’s firework festival on Saturday October 31.

Last year, hundreds of children and their families flocked to the club ground to sample the food stalls, enjoy the rides and of course the magnificent firework display by Aurora Fireworks.

This year’s event will include a selection of local street food outlets offering a range of foods such as hog roast, Malaysian curry, chilli, gourmet sausages and burgers, noodles and pizzas and, not forgetting those with a sweet tooth…pancakes/crepes, donuts and a pick and mix.

Horsham brewery, Hepworths, will be providing a variety of ales and the well established local Harris’ fairground will include traditional fairground music, dodgems, carousel, paratrooper ride and small children’s rides and stalls.

After the firework display you will be able to enjoy a performance in the club by local 80s cover band, Cinnamon Street, which is included in the entrance price.

The event sold-out last year and restricted ground capacity means that ticket sales this year will be on a first-come first-served basis with early bird tickets available from August 31 at £4 per person for the first 2,000 .
