‘Fantastic’ show

Wow – what can I say?

It was an absolutely fantastic performance by each and every child, with superb acting, singing and comic timing skills, delivered in confidence, style and beautifully casted for what can only be best described as an outstanding testament to the children and school.

That is particularly pleasing at a time when the education system per se is the attention of aberration by the national media, with its constant drive to downgrade the successes and achievements, hard work and professionalism of the teaching community.

Let’s for once stand up and applaud what our community schools achieve. The play itself focused on the Greek gods – now that’s education in action!
