Farlington fundraises for Cancer Research

Tim Richardson, chair of the Farlington Foundation, was delighted to present Victoria Godfrey, Manager of the East Street, Horsham branch of Cancer Research UK with a cheque for £1000. The money was raised at Farlington’s second charity golf Day at Ifield Golf Club. dSara Whittaker, Director of PE and Games, who organised the event with Farlington’s Nia Cumber, said, “It was a great event with sponsorship from the Black Isle Group, Crickmay Chartered Surveyors and other local companies. 68 golfers competed to raise money for the Farlington Foundation and Cancer Research UK. Farlington is delighted that so much was raised and that we can contribute to such a worthwhile charity.”

Victoria Godfrey said “This money will go towards funding scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner, as well as providing cancer information to the public.”
