The event, organised by Genetic Disorders UK, raises money to give care and support for children and families who are affected by a genetic disorder.
The school has supported the annual event for the last seven years. The girls paid a £2.00 contribution to wear jeans instead of their school uniform.
The money raised on Jeans for Genes day supports very small charities and helps them get their voices heard and provides vital services for families living with rare conditions.
This year the school is hoping to exceed last year’s total of £370.
