Fire station cuts will affect rural cover

I AM appalled and alarmed at the prospect a reduction or loss in this emergency service.

With the poor road infrastructure around Hastings, Bexhill and the surrounding rural areas, especially to the east including Rye, prompt response to fire, road traffic accidents etc would be further compromised.

Our area has grown not shrunk with increased demand; especially as new building projects to reduce the homelessness of families is in the pipeline.

Please save our fire station at The Ridge.
