Flood fears are easily dealt with

In response to the head line article in your last weeks paper and the now worried residents of the Romney Marsh, their Insurers and the residents of Folkestone, Ashford and Rye that are worried that their front gardens would be under water.

I thought I would put pen to paper and ask the writers of the article if the theory that water finds its own level still applies and if so I would assume that the 100 square miles of the Romney Marsh with it’s ditches and dykes would be enough to accommodate the small amount of tidal water that would come over the sea boundaries at the twice yearly spring tides thus making scaremongering unnecessary.
