Flood water over the white line
THROUGH the pages of your well-read paper (I know local councillors read it), could I ask when the increasing problem of the flooding in Sea Road, Littlehampton, is going to be looked at?
On Wednesday, January 12, the water was almost to the white line in the middle of the road and as far up the road as to be past the car parking spaces and stretching towards the leisure centre.
Last Wednesday, the water was actually over the white line.
This has been going on for some years now and it is getting to the stage where, when it rains, we will need traffic light controls on this section of road, just to avoid accidents, as only the sea side of the road is passable.
