Horsham residents are being encouraged to join the two hour Masterclass which will see volunteer beauty professionals take patient beneficiaries through a specially designed 10-step skincare and make-up regime.

The aim is to help improve the wellbeing and confidence of people undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer, helping to improve their self-image and appearance whilst meeting other people in a similar situation.

Volunteers will have a set of skincare products that can be shared hygienically by the group, but the beneficiaries attending the Masterclass will be asked to provide their own colour products, such as foundation, eye shadow, lip stick and mascara.

Each attendee will be provided with full information on what products to bring prior to the session.

‘Masterclasses’ were launched as part of Look Good Feel Better’s 20th Anniversary celebrations and will provide practical support to even more women and teenagers suffering from the visible side effects of cancer treatment.

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer charity supported by the beauty industry and has been running its free skincare and make-up workshop service across the UK for the past 20 years, touching the lives of over 100,000 women. The Masterclasses will form part of the current Look Good Feel Better Programme, which includes workshops and self-help materials and will see the charity support 20,000 women and teenagers in 2014.
