As participants waited for their moment to shake their bones in the family 1.5k run and the adult 5k run they were able to get up close and personal with the beautiful owls brought along to the event, compliments of Owls Out and About.

As darkness fell the castle ruins lit up, setting an incredible back drop for the night run, it certainly was a spooktacular sight and with such spirited participants taking part, everyone had a ghoulishly good time.

Catherine Bristow, Events Fundraiser stated: “This event has raised nearly £5,000 so far and we could not be more thrilled or should I say thrillered. Feedback has been fantastic and everyone who took part in both the family run and the night run were all such good sports. Judging the best fancy dress competition became quite a challenge as there were some amazing outfits.”

Special thanks go to Cowdray Park Tea Rooms, Pied A Terre Adventures, Midhurst Milers, Owls Out and About LPG Photographic, our volunteers including Pro Fitness and Outfit Sports and all of our sponsors, Spofforths, Montagues Tex Mex, Toyota Motorline, Wildwood PR, Watson Cars.
