Fuelling concern

Is it just me, or are the residents of Rustington, Littlehampton, Wick, and Crossbush being taken for a ride where petrol prices are concerned?

For some three weeks now, the price of unleaded petrol has remained static at 131.9 pence per litre in this area. This includes the new Morrisons, who always tell us they are the best value. The rest are Shell, Esso, and, of course, good old BP, who are always top price, anyway.

BP at Crossbush used to be competitive but then, lo and behold, they all started charging the same price on the same day.

Now if you go to Worthing, Findon, Fontwell, Chichester, Midhurst or Petersfield, to name but a few, the prices are at least 2p per litre less and in some cases 3p less.

What has our area done to upset the oil companies, or is it just that they think we are all millionaire pensioners?

Or is there a secret oil company plot, to keep the prices high in our area to subsidise other areas near to us?
