The wonderful tunes of Delibes were a perfect vehicle for the impressive skills of this thriving company and more than sixty girls charmed and thrilled a packed and appreciative audience.

What was particularly impressive was the ability of the girls to stay in character throughout. This, and the clever use of mime, meant that the story-line was always clear and often very amusing.

And what an exhilarating range of dance to showcase the balletic skills of the whole cast, with the older girls, as Swanhilda and her friends, displaying such grace and beauty!

The simple but effective sets and lighting complemented the most charming and colourful costumes, and Natalie’s superb choreography and professional direction made this a memorable performance.
