Golf day for sporting injury foundation

Local businesses are also invited to help the cause and sponsor a hole on the day.

Organised by Crawley based Clearwater People Solutions, the event will take place at Cottesmore Golf Hotel Golf & Country Club onFriday September 19.

Keen golfers will enjoy a fun filled day, have the chance to swing their clubs, and raise funds for the foundation which offers advice, support, relief and/or treatment for anyone suffering serious injury or disability which has arisen from any cause, but in particular from participation in or training for any sport, sporting activity or other form of physical education or recreation.

To support the day, ambassadors for Matt’s Foundation will be in attendance. In previous years these have included England international, British Lion, and Leicester Tiger Harry Ellis, Samoan international and Leicester Tiger Freddie Tuilagi and New Zealand All Black Craig Newby.

The 4th annual Charity Golf Day promises to be a great day with an 18 hole Stableford Format. There are a number of fantastic hole in-one prizes including an Audi A1 Sportback. Other prizes will be awarded for the Best Team Score, Best individual Score, Longest Drive, Nearest Pin and Beat the Pro.

A two course buffet dinner will follow the event, followed by a silent auction, raffle draw and prize presentations.
