Grateful to Lions for effort

I REFER to the article (Gazette, September 10) on the collections that were made by the Lions during the Arundel Town Festival.

Lions' club members covered the band performances and the street entertainment in the Town Square and the fireworks display on the last evening.

Tyndall Jones single-handedly collected at the castle concerts on behalf of the Duchess's charities and kindly volunteered to help the Lions at the fireworks. We are extremely grateful.
