Great youth service
IT WAS good to see the Angmering Youth Forum Bus in use providing refreshments to the volunteers from the village at the planting of the 350 young trees in Mayflower Park last Sunday morning (March 13). It was a really enjoyable occasion in the fresh air!
The bus and the volunteer drivers are doing a fantastic job in providing the youth of Angmering and the surrounding area somewhere to go in the evenings so they do not have to hang around on the streets. The bus is a benefit it would be a pity for the young people to lose because of shortage of funding or lack of drivers/volunteers.
May I appeal through your columns for the support of the residents of Angmering and ask those willing to help to contact the chairman, Chris Lynch (see above)?
