Hand in glove

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with councillor Nick Wiltshire concerning the problem of dog mess, and agree that anti-social dog owners should be named and shamed.

I also share his view regarding the cuts being implemented by Conservative-controlled Arun District Council and the inevitable effect these will have on front-line services, including the numbers of dog wardens.

However, I find it ironical that Nick Wiltshire, Lib-Dem councillor, should be opposing cuts made by local Tories, while the Lib-Dems nationally are part of a Con-Dem coalition who are ultimately responsible for these cuts.

In my view, it is hypocritical of him to oppose local Tory policies whilst his party are hand in glove with the Tory party nationally, and therefore fully share responsibility for the swingeing and, in my view, unnecessary cuts being made by this coalition government.
