Happy, fun times

I AM writing in response to your story about the Windmill possibly closing.

I have lived in Littlehampton with my family for 23 years. All three of my children at one time or another have appeared at the Windmill in every one of those 23 years, for local amateur groups, be it Chandlers Variety Company, Kick Back Productions, Curtain Call and more recently, Dance Industry and Littlehampton Musical Comedy Society.

We have had many happy, fun times at the Windmill, with young people being encouraged by these local companies to use their energy and time entertaining people, not on the streets vandalising property.

As a family, we have used the cinema there and I, for one, will add my voice to those committed to trying to keep the Windmill open.
