Harbour homes plan would strain drained and crunched economy

WITH the news from the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) that road congestion is costing every Sussex business an average £22,460 a year '“ draining countless millions of pounds from the regional economy '“ will developers and local authorities be reviewing their fairy stories about economic regeneration?

It is surely absurd to keep telling us that huge new development, such as 10,000 homes on Shoreham Harbour, will improve the economy, when it can only worsen the congestion that the BCC says is so costly.
