Hideous shelters
HAVE you seen the sheds on Bexhill seafront? I expected them to be hideous, but never in my wildest imaginings could I have captured the full extent of their hideousness.
The people I pity are the ones who must now draw back their curtains to be greeted by this vision of awfulness. One assumes properties will have been devalued, and will they, therefore, be entitled to claim compensation from those who sanctioned these blots on the landscape?
Do Councillor Maynard and Councillor Starnes open their curtains to visions of awfulness, I wonder? If they did then they might be able to appreciate how these people feel.
