Horsham Bluebelles are baton twirling winners

After many months of hard work and training, 24 girls from The Horsham Bluebelles Baton Twirlers completed in a 4 day competition in Bournemouth.

Competing against approximately 300 other athletes from England and Ireland, their hard work paid off winning places in 51 solo events and 7 team events.

Including best overall routine, Top Twirler sash to Lin Davey and Teacher of the year to Hannah Munden. These fantastic results reflect the commitment and enthusiasm the girls have for their sport.

Baton Twirling is a unique sport combining dance, agility and co-ordination, coupled with grace and flexibility. It teaches athletes good sportsmanship, self-discipline and team spirit.
