“We invariably find that most visitors to our exhibitions find something that they like and admire. We certainly do enjoy exhibiting our pictures and meeting the people who drop in, and when someone likes a work enough to buy it , well that is rather nice.”

The group, an enthusiastic collection of amateur artists, meets every Tuesday during term time at the Forest School, Comptons Lane, and is always keen to welcome new members of any ability. While no instruction is given members are always willing to help and give advice.

On Tuesday June 24 the group will hold an open evening at 7.15pm, where anyone can come along and have a go. There will be no charge and materials, help and encouragement will be provided; why not give it a try?
