The work at Kingslea Primary School was to improve the wooded area around the school field and to make the area more usable.

Nigel Powling, scout leader, said: “It was good to get the Scouts involved in doing something for the local community and it also counted towards their Community Challenge Badge.

“The plan is to make this an annual event to help Kingslea Primary School and its pupils.”
