Hospital bargaining

WITH reference to the story “New Homes” (Gazette, March 10), my opinion of this scheme is: no, no, no.

The size of this development is too large for Littlehampton, a town without a hospital.

However, on page five of the same edition, it says about worries over the hospital being built, and it occurs to me what a wonderful bargaining chip this is.

So, come on you council representatives who have a vote on planning applications, your moment of glory is here.

Vote that not a single brick is laid until our hospital is built, with NHS not private funding.

So remember, no promises, we have had those.

The planners and developers want new homes. The people of Littlehampton want their hospital. Now.
