Humble jumble rakes in the cash for Scout group
WHAT a fantastic result for members of 1st Ninfield Scouts, who managed to raise a princely £1,250 from a humble jumble sale.
Ninfield is well known as a thriving community (just look at Village Voice each week and you get the idea) but such a huge sum of money is unprecedented for such an event.
It seems that in the current economic climate people love a bargain more than ever - and if it’s an organisation such as the Scouts which benefits, then so much the better.
