I support call for better welfare

I just want to offer my support to Christie Ward for her letter printed in last week’s Observer in defending disabled people of working age, as it is about time someone stuck up for us, and is trying to get us a better deal. As we are forgotten and neglected in society, when we can not work, and our benefits are cruelly taken from us due to the Conservative and collation government’s unfair Welfare to Work programme, if in receipt of DLA. I agree with Christie in trying to get us the same benefits as pensioners too. Good on you Christie. You get my support. It is about time someone stuck up for us, as no-one else does or thinks to do, even the organisations and chairities who should do.
