I watched decline
AS a Bexhill resident of over 25 years I look back nostalgically to when we first moved here. The entertainment at the De La Warr Pavilion was fantastic with varied shows most nights to suit all tastes.
I have sadly watched its decline in favour of art events, which I must say I think appeal only to a minority.
So many people I know have expressed similar views and I live in hope that one day our wonderful theatre will again ring out regularly to the sound of appreciative applause from very satisfied audiences.
I do appeal to the powers that be to listen and return our Pavilion as originally intended for all the community.
