I wish cyclists would fit and use bells

I wish people who ride their bikes on the pavement would have bells fitted and use them to warn pedestrians that they are behind them.

I get that the roads are dangerous places for cyclists but so are the pavements for pedestrians when a move in the wrong direction could have a bike, which is approaching from behind, crash into them.
