In support of Cllr Watson

I feel compelled to write in support of Councillor Watson.

The local MPs line up like sheep to condemn this man.

I have known Maurice and Ann for many years, he has worked tirelessly for the local constituents.

He is not the first local councillor to change sides, has anyone wondered why he should take this huge step?

If a member decides to vote against the party, he is sent to Coventry or worse.

It is way past time that politics was removed from local government and priority given to the welfare of the people they are supposed to represent.
