International award for Southwater School
Castlewood School in Southwater has achieved the prestigious ‘Full International School Award’.
A British Council International School Award flag and plaque were awarded to the school for forging and sustaining international school partnerships work, by embedding the importance of global learning in the curriculum to support the pupils being increasingly globally aware.
Headteacher Mrs Julia Slocombe was delighted that the school has received this award and would like to thank all the staff, pupils, parents and Governors for their contribution in this partnership. ‘Ensuring that our pupils are globally aware is more important now than ever before’.
