Is council ‘out to get us’ over parking?

The council have confirmed in writing they need the new parking system to pay for itself, so they are out to get you.

The system was installed at Freedom Leisure’s request due to Thursday market day mis-use. If you pay, then you can get your money back at reception.

But woe-betide anyone who forgets - the council patrol it all the time - and charge you £60 - £80.

Forgetting is no excuse, even if you use the service regularly and have three kids from foster care in tow. So I’ve given up going. It’s not worth it any more.
