Is it a priority for our town?

I was somewhat surprised to read your article '˜Muslim stalked and abused'.

I question if this subject is really a priority in Bexhill and wonder the number of reported crimes by Muslims in Bexhill per annum and total resident numbers and whilst I will always support and respect Muslims rights under law I would remind them there rights are no greater than all residents.

I have some knowledge on this subject holding an Academic Diploma in Community and Race Relations whilst residing in Brixton London, some interesting eight years.

I am bound to state it is a matter of regret that Bexhill police do not display such zeal in other area of policing and have all but abandoned most if not all such tiresome duties as traffic management and minor law enforcement.

In addition, almost by covert management, the post of chief inspector in Bexhill has been abolished (vast saving to police budget) and now operates dual command from Hastings with the constant use of officers from Bexhill to support Hastings.

Time I submit for Her Majesty’s Police Inspectorate to visit Bexhill Police Station and establish amongst other subjects are Muslims really a priority in policing needs at Bexhill?
