It does seem strange

TONI Mansi`s letter referring to Councillor Michael Ensor was very interesting, and his stand against the council leader seems to have hit home. It does seem strange that Cllr Ensor's dual role as both a county and Rother councillor has all of a sudden been a reason for deselection. The 'ruling cartel' should take note of events around the world, particularily Tunisia , Libya, Egypt and Bahrain. The voices of those people were eventually heard with established rulers moved on. I do not expect to see Town Hall Square seething with protesters, exit roads sealed with tanks and security forces shooting from the Town Hall balconies. But the ruling caste at Rother should take note and accept that there is opposition, and they cannot rule forever. More power to your elbow, Cllr Ensor.
