Jams every day

All those who say Arundel does not need a bypass are wrong.

I have to go this way to and from work every day and encounter traffic jams. It doesn’t matter if I go in late or early or do a long shift, I still get stuck in a bottleneck at Crossbush, joining the A27.

Now, at Crossbush, there are roadworks that never seem to have anyone working there, yet the road is blocked in one lane. Then there are the temporary lights at the crossing near the station that might one day get fixed.

If Arundel had a bypass, it would get more visitors. I live in Littlehampton and never visit Arundel, as the traffic is so bad – it can take ten minutes for me to get from Littlehampton to the A27.

I work in Fontwell and have now started to go through Barnham, as it is quicker, even though the speed limit is lower.
