Jeweller in Freedom ceremony

Melanie Moore was admitted to the Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths during a short ceremony on Wednesday 5th February 2014 at The Goldsmiths’ Hall, London.

Melanie, a former pupil of the Weald School Billingshurst, studied at The Kent Institute of Art and Design, Rochester (now part of the University of Creative Arts), where she gained an honours degree in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery Design.

Following a number of years spent working in a Goldsmith’s workshop and later in a Chichester jewellers, Melanie bought her own small shop unit in Church Street Storrington where she now trades under the name of Melanie Paul Ltd. specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke pieces of jewellery, most of which are made on the premises .
