Just an observation

REGARDING the missing drop-kerbs on Bexhill sea-front - I was recently being driven along the front at Eastbourne and guess what? I counted at least eight light-controlled pedestrian crossings.

What has Bexhill got from the western end toilets to the Sackville roundabout? You’re right, a big fat zero.

As a 91-year-old scooter rider I believe a crossing is really required at the three-way junction close to the toilets.

A scooter can do between four and eight miles per hour - not enough time to dodge the busy frontline traffic, although most drivers in Bexhill let you go with a flash of their lights.

This is not a moan, just an observation.

Good luck to all you cold weather scooterists I meet on the prom.
