LETTER: Action needed

Having read your recent report about the appalling service provided by Southern Rail in West Sussex, can I add to the list of complaints that most of the trains have no toilets, and those at stations have limited opening hours.

How utterly appalling in 2015, with so many elderly people and families with young children using the railway.

Many of trains have only three carriages, so at rush- hour times passengers are packed in whilst profits for Southern Rail continue to increase.

Action must be taken and quickly!
