LETTER: Community lunch was festive fun

Yesterday, Thursday December 5, my wife and I, along with a group of friends, attended a Community Lunch, held at Christ’s Hospiital School. Each term, once a month, such a lunch is held for the elderly, for people from care homes, sheltered homes and the like and for people representing various charities and organizations in and around Horsham.

Students, staff and volunteers ensure that all runs smoothly. After the meal entertainment was provided, as is always the case, by staff and students.

Yeterday hand bell ringers and staff and student choirs played and sang carols and Christmas songs with the enthusiasm and excellence always shown by the staff and students.

Yesterday the meal, was sponsored by a Horsham company, headed by Mr J K Leech. They have provided similar lunches at Christmas several times and my wife and I along with our party and I am sure all the other diners would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr J K Leech for his kind gesture.
