LETTER: Congratulations on pothole repairs

I promised to write to you when the council had successfully completed the repair of the potholes in Springfield Crescent and Springfield Park Road in Horsham so that I could publicly offer my congratulations to the council for their efforts.

On Monday 24th February work started in earnest in Springfield Park Road and continued for four days until all the potholes and their surrounding deteriorating road surface had been removed and the carriageway repaired to the same high standard as had been previously reported for Springfield Crescent.

So, congratulations to the roads department, thank you WSCT for helping me keep this issue alive and thank you councillor Costin for seeing that my concerns were transmitted to the responsible authority for action.

Can we now turn our attention to the north-bound section of North Parade at the junction with Hurst Road, where there is a bulge in the Tarmac that must be close to 100mm high?
